~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ 1. Monday,
June 30, 2008, 2-3:30 PM Pacific: We welcome back John Powell of JP
Aerospace to the show. John is the author of the new Apogee book,
"Floating To Space: The Airship to Orbit Program." < /b>
2. Tuesday, July 1 , 2008, 7-8:30 PM Pacific: We welcome the return of Charles Chafer, CEO of Celestis and Space Services to the show. In addition to running a successful commercial space business, Charlie Chafer knows space commerce very well. Its always a fascinating and informative discussion with him. |
3. Friday, July 4, 2008. You will hear the second set of interviews from the recent Space Show TV series filmed at Cape Canaveral with Jim Lewis and CCI. The first hour is Dennis Wingo regarding a new variation on how to assure the viability of the VSE and our return to the Moon. The second hour features Don Beattie with a different version of NASA's future and programs more likely to come about than the VSE as a new president and Congress come to office in 2009. Don's ideas do not at this time include a return to the Moon but instead focus on other missions that NASA and the country need to do. Personally, I find myself agreeing with both Dennis and Don so listen to these two hours to see how that is possible. When you see this show on the website as an archive program, just play and listen to it as you would any archived Space Show program. It will be archived early Friday morning and ready for play immediately thereafter. 4. Sunday, July 6, 2008, 12-1:30 PM Pacific: This program features Dr. Bryan Laubscher and Martin Lades talking about the space elevator and their upcoming conference in mid-July 2008 in Redmond, WA. |
