Re: Survey for graduate project
Hi Peter,
maybe, in the frame of the collabroation between Space Future and
Technologies of the Frontier (that we started with the aim to publish the
Krafft A. Ehricke works some times ago!) you could add a link on Space
Future to the new Students page on TdF?
The page is this one: http://www.tdf.it/students/st_works.htm
Should you have any suggestion on how to make the page more
informative/attractive please tell me.
If you like I will add a row at the top, saying: "In collaboration between
SpaceFuture and Technologies of the Frontier"
I think this initiative could be very useful for many students, if we decide
to make some publicity to it.
What d'you think?

Subject: Re: Survey for graduate project
Jon,
I am working on a graduate research project the involves a survey on
potential fears the public may have about traveling into space, and
the experiences that the public may want to have during a sub-orbital
flight.
This question is primarily addressed to the list administrator, but I
would appreciate feedback from list members.
My question is: Would it be permissible to post a link to a PDF of
the survey, and ask any interested parties to download the survey,
fill out the responses, and have the completed survey mailed to me?
It's good to see more students getting interested in this area -- we are
receiving similar requests (although not always as organized) at Space
Future about once a week at the moment. As Adriano has stepped up to the
plate and provided a link, plus the traffic on this list, hopefully
you'll get some responses.
I must concur with him though: you'll get more responses if you accept
them through email rather than snail mail. The simpler the mechanism, the
better the responses (plus, you don't want to bias the results to only
those people who are interested enough in the subject to bother with a
complex process). I'd be interested in seeing the results when you're
done.
