Apparently neither is Scott Horowitz, when he lets the Thiokol marketing staff do his thinking for him. :)

You don't have to be a rocket scientist to know that SRB's are risky for manned spaceflight. Just try to extinguish a skyrocket once it ignites. Same principle except a million times more powerful.
