Dec. 10, 2007, 2-3:30 PM Pacific: Former Astronaut Dr. Dan Barry is our
guest for this program. Dr. Barry has logged over 734 hours in space,
including 4 spacewalks totaling 25 hours and 53 minutes. Dr. Barry retired
from NASA in April 2005 to start his own company "Denbar Robotics" where
he currently builds robots.
2. SPECIAL TIME: Tuesday, Dec. 11 2007, 9:30-11AM Pacific: Taylor Dinerman is with us from Switzerland. As a political advisor to candidates regarding space policy, Mr. Dinerman will be talking to us about how such advice is given, accepted, and balanced with other issues. |
3. Wednesday, Dec. 12, 2007, 9:30-11AM Pacific: Chris Stott is with us from the Isle of Man. We will be discussing ManSat, orbital space tourism, and space programs centered in and coming to this developing center of space commerce. 4. Friday, Dec. 14, 2007, 9:30-11:30 AM Pacific: Christophe Bonnal is in France and is the Senior Expert - Technical Directorate CNES - Launcher Directorate. We will be discussing future space missions such as Space Tourism, Earth Protection from Near Earth Objects, Space Elevator in addition to launcher designer (mainly the Ariane family) and Space Debris specialist. Also, the First Symposium on Private Human Access to Space organized by the IAA, (International Academy of Astronautics), to be held in Arcachon (France, Near Bordeaux) on May 28-30, 2008 (www.iaaweb.org ) Friday, Feb. 29: |
