Firstly, thanks as always for the post Mark.

So I was just curious...

I thought I heard at first that Griffin had said he
thought the timetable for the CEV was way
overexaggerated, too slow, etc....

Now he is basically saying I said something I
shouldn't have and am going back on my word?  So the
Congress didn't like it, which is expected, but the
"Executive Branch" also??

So I guess my question is was he being unrealistic and
not taking into account ...whatever... when he said
what he did about accelerating the CEV?  Just curious,
I know most of us (well me at least ;) usually think
the government is mismanaging the space program,
dragging their feet, etc. but if you are working
within the confines/system/realities they are now I'm
sure it is much different...
